Hydrogen vehicles more in line with the criterion of new energy vehicles than lithium electric vehicles

Green hydrogen is regarded as a truly zero-carbon green energy source. The development of hydrogen energy vehicles are restricted because of lack of hydrogen refueling stations.

The power source of the lithium electric vehicle comes from the charged lithium battery, so the overall performance is almost kidnapped by the limitation of its material and electrochemical reaction, which is the most fundamental bottleneck, resulting in the failure of normal operation at high and low temperature and the limited power storage. In order to save electricity, it is necessary to use caution or even turn off the air conditioner in order to prevent power shortage in high heat and cold climates, which is already challenging the limits of drivers and passengers. When the practical improvement is still uncertain, lithium electric vehicles cannot operate anywhere and anytime, like fuel vehicles, but they are considered to be new energy vehicles that can replace fuel vehicles, which is really unconvincing.

Endurance is not an important indicator for comparison in the era of fuel vehicles. Only fuel economy based on reducing carbon emissions and driving costs will be regarded as the basis for the technical capabilities of car manufacturers. The irony is that the current major car manufacturers have taken battery life as an indicator of lithium electric car for competition. They have already made a lot of money to use expensive special material technology to reduce the weight of the car, the body is designed with low wind resistance, and even solar panels are installed on the roof, etc. To emphasize the difference from other car manufacturers by improving the battery life has very limited effect. Since the automobile industry must make every effort to improve these major basic problems of lithium electric vehicles, it is enough to prove that the technology of lithium electric vehicles is not mature enough. On the other hand, after the mass production of hydrogen energy vehicles, in terms of endurance and low temperature resistance, they are more than capable of being superior to fuel vehicles, and their technological maturity is far higher than that of lithium electric vehicles, making them more suitable for becoming real new energy vehicles. The problem of setting up hydrogen refueling stations has limited the promotion of hydrogen energy vehicles. However, after major countries such as Europe, Japan and South Korea clearly set hydrogen energy as the basic policy for decarbonization, infrastructure construction will gradually follow up and eventually be solved, and the absolute advantages of hydrogen energy vehicles will become more prominent.
